Knitwear is another thing I absolutely adore about Autumn/Winter! There’s nothing nicer than putting on a cozy jumper, having a cup of tea and relaxing by the fire… see Winter does have its pro’s! While cosy knits are perfect for relaxing they can also be very fashionable. In today’s post I’m featuring some of my favourite high street knitwear that I have come across this season which have that ‘little bit extra’. Whether it a statement colour or a design element I think these knits will take you anywhere. I have divided this post into three sections – sweaters, cardigans & jumper dresses.

Paired with jeans, a skirt or over a dress with ankle boots these sweaters will keep you looking stylish while staying warm! Please note some of the sweaters below are from Romwe. This is a Chinese site, their items are pretty much true to size but delivery can take up to three weeks.

Cardigans in winter are one of the ultimate layering tools. Perfect for anyone that works in an office as it can be often hard to the gauge temperatures. Paired with skinny black trousers, a slim fitting polo neck and heels a cardigan can look very professional. Also the same cardigan can be dressed down for weekends with some converse and ripped boyfriend jeans. They are so versatile!

The Jumper Dress

Jumper dresses are one of the first items I remember purchasing when I fell in love with fashion. I was in my awkward teenage years and was trying to buy an outfit for National Hunt racing. I soon learned a jumper dresses, like cardigans are very versatile. They are perfect for the office, under a winter coat and even for a night out. With tights, without tights, paired with OTK (Over The Knee) boots or ankle boots, your options are endless. Here are some that I’ve picked out from Littlewoods Ireland.
